You must have a keen attention to detail, be reliable and conscientious and take a real pride in your work.

We are a small company which started five years ago.  We are building a reputation for quality workmanship and want to employ people who uphold the same standards as we do. When it comes to installing a new wood floor, we believe that the sub-floor is the most important element.  Making the whole area completely level is of absolute importance.  We do not believe that simply pouring latex into the dips and hoping it will level itself is enough to give a solid and sound feel to the finished floor.  We would expect you to adopt and respect our principals in this area.

When fitting new floor, be it an engineered wood or a solid installation, attention to detail is paramount.  if you think something looks odd or out of place then chances are the customer will too.  If a board you have just installed does not look right, then take it out and replace it - use your common sense. The same principal applies when restoring an old floor.  If it would not be good enough in your own home, then why should we expect a customer to accept it?

We are looking to employ fitters and/or sanders on a full time basis and are not really interested in sub-contracting work out.  We offer use of a company van and a salary which will be negotiable depending upon your experience.
